We’re delighted to let you know that Ofgem has approved the Stage Gate report for Future Billing Methodology (FBM). This means the project will now go ahead to Phase 2.

The Project Consultation Report is now available.  Click here to access the report. This includes a summary of the responses to each of the consultation questions.

The Future Billing industry consultation closed on 12 May.

Below are links to some of the responses received. Note – where any part of a consultation response is marked as confidential, the response will not be published here. An analysis of all responses will be published in June 2017.

On 2 May 2017 National Grid Gas Distribution changed its name to Cadent Gas Limited. This is because National Grid recently completed the sale of a 61% share of its UK gas distribution business to a consortium of investors.

The industry consultation is now open until 12 May 2017.
