Cadent has today released a report containing the final recommendations of the Future Billing Methodology (FBM) Project.

The Stage Gate Report is now available. Click here to access the report. This report summarises the output of phase one of the project in line with the requirements of the Ofgem Successful Delivery Reward Criteria (SDRC) 9.1(a). The document was jointly prepared by Cadent and DNV GL.  

We are all aware that to hit net zero by 2050, a range of low-carbon technologies will be required. Currently, heat accounts for around 40% of the UK’s emissions and approximately 85% of households use natural gas to heat their homes. Therefore, to achieve net zero, there will need to be significant changes to how we heat and power our homes and businesses.
